Coppinger Champs

   PikeView again entered the annual Coppinger Tournament after last year's championship victory. The Panthers started off the tournament playing Grundy in the first round, topping off an 18-0 victory.  They then went on to play one of the two cross county rivals they would face in the tournament, Princeton which the Panthers beat 3-1 with a late rally.  The Panthers then went on to play Greenbrier East in the semi finals. The Panthers came out on top 6-5. They played another cross county rival, Bluefield, and took home the Coppinger championship for the secound straight year with a final score of 10-1.

   Senior Levi Nash was named MVP for the Coppinger tournament and named to the All Coppinger team.  Seniors Jon Clark and Michael Rotenberry were also named to the All Coppinger team.
